Making easy homemade Christmas candy like Crock Pot Cherry Nut Chocolate Cups is one of my favorite things to do over the holiday season.

These Cherry Nut Chocolate Cups are so easy to make and you can use any combination of dried fruits and nuts that you like as the filling.

Christmas Candy Recipe

Homemade Christmas candy is so easy to make in the crock pot.

Melt some chocolate and add some fun stuff.

I used dried cherries, macadamia nuts, pumpkin seeds, and roasted peanuts for this chocolate nut cup recipe.

Feel free to use whatever combination of your favorite dried fruit and nuts you'd like.

What size crock pot to make candy?

For this recipe, I used my little mini 2-quart crock pot which was the perfect size for one batch of candy.

The 2-quart crock pot will also work fine if you are planning to double the candy recipe.

There was more than enough room left in the 2-quart crock pot for a 2 blocks of Almond Bark.

      Hi Patti

I am not sure of real cherries would work with this recipe. They may be too wet.
