The trick to making fruit-flavored iced teas is very simple. All you need is to make mango simple syrup.

Simple syrup is so easy to make and once you learn how to make it you can make any flavor of iced tea that you like. Like this Peach Iced Tea recipe.

I love to make flavored iced teas using in-season fruit during the hot summer months. It is a sweet change from regular iced tea.

Flavored iced tea recipes are perfect for summer backyard bbq's, picnics or days at the park. Or just sitting on the porch with friends enjoying the weather.

Although here in Florida we tend to hide indoors with the air conditioner turned way down low because we literally feel like we are melting this time of year.

Even though it is sweltering outside we do like to enjoy our iced tea. It is a southern tradition.

So when company stops by serving an ice cold glass of Mango Iced Tea is a great way to impress our guests as we hang out and catch up.
