I am so ready for fall! I'm starting my morning with this extra thick and creamy Pumpkin Smoothie recipe today.
If you love smoothie recipes there is no reason you can't enjoy this popular fall flavor in a morning smoothie.
Pumpkin recipes are starting to pop up all over the place this time of year. This Pumpkin Smoothie recipe is a great way to get your pumpkin fix.
I love my smoothie recipes thick and creamy and this Pumpkin Smoothie with banana hits the spot perfectly.
Smoothies are a great snack
As you know breakfast smoothies are very easy to make. But a Pumpkin Smoothie recipes aren't just for breakfast.
This fun pumpkin flavored smoothie is a great late afternoon snack perfect for after school or if you know you are going to eat a late dinner.
A protein-packed smoothie is a great way to get through the rest of the day. until dinner time.
This Pumpkin Smoothie recipe has all of my favorite basic smoothie ingredients like yogurt and a banana.
I've used thick Greek yogurt to make this an extra creamy smoothie.
I then added a little milk to thin it out as needed because between the Greek yogurt and the pumpkin puree this is one thick and creamy smoothie.
But you can serve it as thick or as thin as you like by adjusting the amount of milk used.
You could also use Almond milk or Rice milk to make this thick pumpkin spice smoothie dairy free.
Homemade Smoothie Sweeteners
I am not a big fan of overly sweet smoothie recipes. It kind of defeats the purpose of sipping on a healthy smoothie if you add a bunch of sugar. I have used Florida honey to sweeten this pumpkin smoothie. You can use whatever sweetener you would like.
If you would like a sweeter smoothie I suggest you taste this pumpkin smoothie recipe before you make any adjustments. Take a sip or spoonful from the blender before you pour it into a glass.
This way if you need to adjust the sweetener you can easily add more to the blender and blend it in before pouring it from the blender to the glass.

Arlene mobley;
Hi,this is the first time I have visited your website and I looked at your smoothie recipes.I copied down your pumpkin smoothie and I am going to make your smoothie in my magic bullet blender that I keep on the counter top in my house, and my mom and I enjoy making and drinking healthy homemade smoothies everyday.I will let you know how much I enjoy drinking your smoothie after I make it in my blender.
My blender isn't good at bending ice cubes so if I freeze the banana and then put it in the blender with the rest of the other ingredients would that be OK to use instead of ice cubes.
I love your website and smoothie recipes.

Thank you for the sweet comment! So glad you are enjoying the recipes. Yes you could freeze the banana and it will probably help. The smoothie might be a bit thinner without the ice. But it will still taste delicious!
