If you like it hot add another jalapeno. If you don't care that much for a strong cilantro flavor decrease the amount of cilantro.

This homemade Pico de Gallo recipe topped off these game day Carne Asada Sliders perfectly.
How to make Pico de Gallo
- 3 medium tomatoes seeded and diced
- 1 medium onion diced
- 2 jalapeno peppers, membrane, and seeds removed then diced finely
- 4 cloves of garlic, minced
- ½ a bunch cilantro
- 1 teaspoon salt
- juice of 2 limes
Pico de Galo Directions
- Put all the ingredients into a bowl or mason jar and refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
Pico de Galo Recipe
Ingredients
- 3 medium tomatoes (seeded and diced)

- 1 teaspoon salt
- 2 whole limes (juiced)

- Dice the fresh vegetables.
Make the Pico de Galo
- Put all the ingredients into a bowl and mix to combine.
- Cover the bowl or put the salsa in a mason jar and refrigerate for a couple of hours before serving.
- Serve with chips or your favorite Mexican food.
- Makes about 2 ½ cups of salsa.
