I made these Shrimp Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers from some of the jumbo jalapeno peppers I had growing.
Shrimp appetizers are great for any party or holiday get together. Buffalo Shrimp and this Stuffed Shrimp recipe make great bite size finger food.
I love using a sweet and spicy jam or jelly as a jalapeno popper dip.
I usually use my peach and jalapeno jelly as a dipping sauce for jalapeno poppers.
Or sometimes I will make a Berry Pepper Dipping sauce to dip my jalapeno poppers into.
The sweet and spicy flavors of a pepper jam is the perfect dipping sauce to compliment the spicy flavor of stuffed jalapeno peppers.
These Shrimp Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers are stuffed with a seasoned cream cheese filling.
Since I was also stuffing the jalapeno peppers with a large shrimp I added a little Old Bay Seasoning to the softened cream cheese.
Old Bay Seasoning is a seafood seasoning that is delicious and if you enjoy eating shrimp or crab you have probably had Old Bay Seasoning before.
Old Bay Seasoning added another lovely layer of spicy flavor to this stuffed jalapeno pepper appetizer.

Helpful Tips for making Shrimp Stuffed Bacon Wrapped Jalapeno Peppers
- Wear (affiliate links) plastic disposable gloves whenever working with hot peppers.
- Use a sharp paring knife to easily remove the membrane from the inside of each half of jalapeno pepper.
- Use a plastic bag or a cake decorating bag to pipe the cream cheese filling evenly into the jalapeno pepper halves. This makes it very easy to make sure you have enough filling to fill all 16 jalapeno pepper halves.
- Do not overcook to try to get the bacon extra crispy. This will cause the shrimp to overcook and become unappetizing and tough.
