This fruity green-colored cocktail gets its vibrant green color from Midori Liqueur.
If you love the sweet melon flavor of Midori than you are going to love the Emerald Lady Cocktail.
The combination of melon liqueur, pineapple juice, cream of coconut with just a hint of orange juice reminds me of Melon Colada minus the oj of course.
We all could use a little Irish luck on St Patrick's Day but when March is long gone the Emerald Lady cocktail makes a perfect summer frozen cocktail recipe to help cool you off as you're laying by the pool.
Ingredients
- 2 oz. unsweetened pineapple juice
- 1 oz. rum
- 1.5 oz. Midori liqueur
- ¾ oz. orange juice
- 1 oz. cream of coconut
- 1 oz. chilled club soda
- 3 drops green food coloring (optional)
- 1 cup of ice cubes
How to make the Emerald Lady Cocktail
- Place all the ingredients into a blender and blend until ice is crushed.
- Serve in a Hurricane glass and garnish with a green cherry if desired.
