Holiday Breakfast or Brunch recipes

I've got a theme going when it comes to special holiday recipes. For some reason, I love making and sharing decadent Nutella breakfast or brunch recipes.

Can you blame me?

It started a few years ago when I hosted a special Mother's Day brunch for all the mothers in my family.

I made Nutella Double Stuffed French Toast and Nutella Muffins.

Nutella Waffles recipe for Mother's Day

One of these days I will share the story of how my Nutella Cream Cheese Swirl Brownie recipe launched my career as a professional food blogger.

I love the flavor combination of Nutella, bananas and cinnamon. Each flavor is a perfect complimentary flavor to the other two.

This Nutella Banana Waffles recipe will make 4 or 5 huge 7 inch round Belgian style waffles.

If you have a standard size waffle maker you can probably make a few more waffles. It takes one heaping cup of Nutella Banana Waffle batter to fill my waffle maker.

Keep that in mind when you're making this recipe in a smaller waffle maker. Extra waffles can be frozen and reheated.
