Recipe FAQs

What does no churn ice cream mean?

No churn ice cream means you are making a quick version of homemade ice cream without an ice cream maker and using whipping cream and sweetened condensed milk instead of making an egg based ice cream custard and churning it in a ice cream maker.

Does no churn ice cream taste good?

If you are craving homemade ice cream but do not have an ice cream maker you can make no churn ice cream that is a quick and easy substitute for homemade ice cream. It tastes sweet and creamy just like real ice cream but is made with whipping cream and condensed milk.

Ohhhhh.... I used to love making ice cream with my grandparents growing up. I cannot say I have made it in recent years, but your recipe? Game changer! I just recently tried the gluten free oreos, and I am just betting I can make this recipe with regular GF oreos. Thank you so much for sharing!
