Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie Recipe

Disclosure: I made this delicious Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie recipe using SPLENDA® Sweetener Products as part of a sponsored post for Socialstars #SplendaSweeties #SweetSwaps

This Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie recipe is packed full of healthy fruit and veggies that will help you start the morning off with a good dose of vitamins and minerals.

A good way to start the day is to start the morning off with a green smoothie recipe.

I know not everyone likes green smoothies. I think it is the fact that they have spinach in them. I honestly can't taste the spinach. I happen to love fresh baby spinach leaves in my salads and love it in my green smoothies.

What I have found is that when you add spinach or kale to a green smoothie it actually gives a smoothie just a hint of bitterness to the flavor.

The easiest way to fix that is to add just a tiny bit of a sweetener to it.

Adding a sweetener to a smoothie recipe is a lot like adding salt to a baked goods recipe. You can't really taste it, but it enhances the flavor of the other ingredients.

SPLENDA® Brand sweetener adds just enough sweetness without adding all the calories of sugar and this Kiwi Cucumber Smoothie recipe make a perfect #SweetSwaps recipe.

As with any smoothie recipe, all you need are your ingredients and a blender.

I like to make enough green smoothie so I can share or drink a big glass for breakfast and then save the rest for a quick pick me up snack in the late afternoon.

I put the leftover green smoothie in the refrigerator and pour it over ice when I need a snack to hold me over until dinner time.
