I use a few different brands of pasta sauce that I love to use with certain recipes.
If I don't have time to make my Crock Pot Spaghetti Meat Sauce recipe I have no problem using a jar of sauce as long as it is high quality and tastes good.
I used Bertolli Four Cheese Rosa Alfredo Sauce for this Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo recipe.
It is jam-packed full of flavor and the chicken melts in your mouth in this recipe
When I made this Crock Pot Chicken Rosa recipe I had a fresh tomato on hand and added it to the crock pot.
If you don't have a fresh tomato you could use a can of diced tomatoes instead.
Crock Pot Chicken Recipes
Crock Pot Chicken recipes are my favorite crock pot meals.
It is really easy to cook chicken in the crock pot.
You can make your food dollar go farther especially if you buy chicken in bulk when it goes on sale. When you use boneless chicken and shred the chicken meat you can serve a couple of more people by shredding the meat and mixing it into the pasta.
How To Serve Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo
You have two options when serving this Chicken Rosa recipe. You can serve each plate with a whole cooked chicken breast on a bed of cooked pasta to make 4 servings.
Or when the chicken has finished cooking you can shred it with two forks and mix the cooked pasta into the crock pot with the alfredo sauce and shredded chicken.
If you shred the chicken you can stretch this chicken crock pot meal and easily make 6 or more servings.
You could also serve this recipe over white rice, cooked spaghetti squash or riced cauliflower if you don't want to use pasta.

I am just curious about why you use the paper towels.

Val
The paper towels are used to absorb the water that forms on the lid and then drips down into the crock pot off the inside of the crock pot lid. This prevents the water from mixing with the ingredients in the crock pot and diluting the sauce. It is a good way to keep your crock pot recipes from getting too watery. This also works very well when you are making desserts in the crock pot.
