This Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo recipe is an easy 3 ingredient crock pot chicken recipe.

All the flavor comes from a jar of creamy four cheese alfredo sauce with tomatoes. So easy to make and so delicious.

I am amazed at how delicious this crock pot chicken recipe is.

The secret to the amazing flavor of this Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo recipe is one of my favorite high-quality jars of alfredo sauce.

I use a few different brands of pasta sauce that I love to use with certain recipes.

If I don't have time to make my Crock Pot Spaghetti Meat Sauce recipe I have no problem using a jar of sauce as long as it is high quality and tastes good.

I used Bertolli Four Cheese Rosa Alfredo Sauce for this Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo recipe.

It is jam-packed full of flavor and the chicken melts in your mouth in this recipe

When I made this Crock Pot Chicken Rosa recipe I had a fresh tomato on hand and added it to the crock pot.

If you don't have a fresh tomato you could use a can of diced tomatoes instead.

Crock Pot Chicken Recipes

Crock Pot Chicken recipes are my favorite crock pot meals.

It is really easy to cook chicken in the crock pot.

You can make your food dollar go farther especially if you buy chicken in bulk when it goes on sale. When you use boneless chicken and shred the chicken meat you can serve a couple of more people by shredding the meat and mixing it into the pasta.

How To Serve Crock Pot Chicken Rosa Alfredo

You have two options when serving this Chicken Rosa recipe. You can serve each plate with a whole cooked chicken breast on a bed of cooked pasta to make 4 servings.

Or when the chicken has finished cooking you can shred it with two forks and mix the cooked pasta into the crock pot with the alfredo sauce and shredded chicken.

If you shred the chicken you can stretch this chicken crock pot meal and easily make 6 or more servings.

You could also serve this recipe over white rice, cooked spaghetti squash or riced cauliflower if you don't want to use pasta.

Ingredients

  • 4 boneless, skinless chicken breast halves
  • 1 jar Bertolli 4 Cheese Rosa Sauce
  • 1 tomato diced
  • 1 teaspoon Italian seasoning
  • 1 lb box penne pasta

Directions

  1. Place the chicken into the crock pot.
  2. Pour the sauce over the chicken.
  3. Add the diced tomato and Italian seasoning.
  4. Toss the chicken to coat evenly.
  5. Place a triple layer of paper towels over the top of the crock pot and cover with the lid.
  6. Cook for 3-4 hours until the chicken is cooked through.
  7. Cook the Penne pasta.
  8. Serve the chicken over a bed of the pasta.
  9. Sprinkle with grated parmesan cheese (optional)
  10. Serves 4.

I am just curious about why you use the paper towels.

The paper towels are used to absorb the water that forms on the lid and then drips down into the crock pot off the inside of the crock pot lid. This prevents the water from mixing with the ingredients in the crock pot and diluting the sauce. It is a good way to keep your crock pot recipes from getting too watery. This also works very well when you are making desserts in the crock pot.
