Crock Pot Cheesy Beef Spaghetti is one of my families favorite baked spaghetti recipes. I've taken our favorite family pasta dish and turned it into an easy crock pot recipe.
You can make a cheesy baked spaghetti recipe in your crock pot with uncooked pasta that your family will love.

Can you cook uncooked pasta in the crock pot?
I first discovered how easy it is to make a crock pot pasta recipes with uncooked pasta back when I converted my traditional Baked Ziti recipe into a Crock Pot Baked Ziti recipe using uncooked pasta.
This crock pot Cheesy Beef Spaghetti recipe made with uncooked pasta cooked up just as easily as my Crock Pot Baked Ziti recipe.
As long as there is enough moisture from the pasta sauce and a little bit of water as needed the uncooked pasta noodles cook up just fine.
How To Make Crock Pot Cheesy Beef Spaghetti recipe using uncooked pasta noodles
Ingredients
- 1.5 lbs ground beef
- 1 tablespoon minced garlic
- 1 teaspoon garlic salt
- 16 oz uncooked spaghetti noodles, broken in half.
- 48 oz favorite pasta sauce
- ½ to 1 cup water
- 2 cup shredded mozzarella cheese
Directions
- Brown the ground beef in a large skillet seasoning it with the garlic salt. Add the minced garlic to the skillet when the ground beef is almost cooked through. Continue to brown the beef until no longer pink. Drain the browned ground beef well.
- Break the spaghetti noodles in half and place them in a 7-quart crock pot slow cooker.
- Add the drained ground beef to the crock pot.
- Pour ½ cup of water and the pasta sauce on top of the ground beef and broken pasta noodles to the crock pot. Stir the pasta around a bit so the sauce sinks to the bottom of the crock pot.
- Place the lid on and cook on high for 2 to 3 hours on high or 5 to 6 hours on low. Halfway through the cooking time check to see if the sauce starting to cook too much on the bottom of the slow cooker. If it is and the pasta is not cooked through add the remaining ½ cup of water to the slow cooker and stir. Continue to cook until the pasta is cooked through.
- Right before serving sprinkle the shredded mozzarella cheese over the cooked spaghetti, cover and allow to melt before serving.
- Makes 6 to 8 servings.
Helpful Tips for cooking Crock Pot Cheesy Beef Spaghetti
- Make my Crock Pot Spaghetti Meat Sauce and freeze the leftovers so you will always have homemade sauce on hand.
- Season the ground beef while browning any way you like. Add diced red pepper and diced onion while browning the ground beef if that is the way your family likes to eat pasta sauce.
- The cooking time will vary depending on the size of crock pot used and the type of pasta used. Cooking times are approximate. Check occasionally to make sure the pasta is not overcooking and the sauce is not drying out on the bottom of the slow cooker and scorching.
