Can you cook uncooked pasta in the crock pot?
I first discovered how easy it was to slow cook a pasta recipe with uncooked noodle when I converted my Baked Ziti recipe into a Crock Pot Baked Ziti recipe using uncooked pasta.
This crock pot cheesy baked spaghetti recipe made with uncooked pasta cooked up just as easily as my Crock Pot Baked Ziti recipe.
As long as there is enough moisture from the pasta sauce and a little bit of water the uncooked pasta noodles cook up just fine.
Best side dish for pasta
The best side dish to serve with pasta is a simple salad with a creamy dressing and crusty bread.
- Chef's Salad with homemade buttermilk ranch.
- Crusty bread like homemade Italian bread.
