    2-3 whole cloves.
2-3 whole green cardamoms broken open (seeds & all)
    1-2 tsp of sugar
Put water in small sauce pan put in spices(cinnamon, ginger, cloves, cardamom, sugar & tea leaves), bring to a. Boil add in milk and bring to a boil again. Set a strainer over cup and pour tea into cup.(spices can be adjusted to taste.) some recipes may even add black peppercorn. But when I lived in India, I never saw my in-laws put it in there.

You should probably brew it very strong or you won’t have much chai flavor after factoring the ice. The concentrate is much stronger than a brewed cup of chai tea. You can try it and then adjust the strength of your brewed chai tea.
