You pretty much dump all the ingredients into the crock pot and a few hours later you have a warm and gooey apple cake dessert recipe.

How to Make Crock Pot Caramel Apple Cake

Ingredients

  • 2 cans caramel apple pie filling
  • 1 box yellow cake mix
  • 1 stick butter, softened.

Directions

  1. Spray crock pot with cooking spray.
  2. Pour both cans of pie filling into the crock pot.
  3. In a medium size bowl mix using a pastry cutter, cut the butter into the cake mix.
  4. Remove 1 cup and set aside.
  5. Using clean hands rub the cake mix and butter together until large crumbles form.
  6. Sprinkle the crumbs over the pie filling.
  7. Sprinkle the reserved cake mix over the top.
  8. Cover crock pot with a double layer of paper towels then put the lid on.
  9. Cook on high for 2-3 hours or until the cake mix has cooked.
