A Coconut Mojito recipe is a perfect coconut mint mojito to sip on since I live in tropical Florida.

If you have never sipped on a minty Mojito you don't know what you are missing. A Mojito is as tropical as you can get. It is a traditional Cuban cocktail that is said to have been created sometime around 1400-1500's in Havana Cuba.

Today I am sharing this Bahama Breeze Copycat Coconut Mojito recipe.

Tropical cocktail recipes perfect for summer sipping: Coconut Mojito recipe

Traditional Mojito Recipe

A traditional Mojito only has five ingredients; rum, lime juice, superfine sugar or cane sugar, soda water and mint, usually served over ice.

But you can make so many different variations of a Mojito just by adding another flavor ingredient like coconut milk as I did with this Coconut Mojito.

Bahama Breeze Coconut Mojito recipe

I had my first taste of a Coconut Mint Mojito on a recent visit to a Bahama Breeze restaurant.

I fell in love with it and knew I had to try and make my own version of a Coconut Mojito.

Fruity Mojito recipes

I also recently made a Strawberry Mojito and Blueberry Mojito.

The Strawberry Mojito recipe is already on the blog but I am saving the Blueberry Mojito for National Mojito Day.

No matter which Mojito you decide to try you will need the ingredients for a traditional mojito and a cocktail muddler. You will also need a can of coconut milk to make this Coconut Mojito.

Bahama Breeze Coconut Mojito Copycat recipe

After sipping on a Bahama Breeze CoconutMint  Mojito while out eating dinner with my oldest daughter and some friends.

I knew I had to try and make a Bahama Breeze Copycat Coconut Mojito once I got home.

I think I nailed it but you'll have to try this Coconut Mojito recipe to find out for yourself!
