Shredded Beef Nachos Recipe
Last week on #CrockPotFriday I shared a very easy crock pot shredded beef recipe. The crock pot shredded beef is a very delicious recipe all on its own. That one simple Shredded Beef crock pot recipe can be turned into so many different recipes that will help with menu planning. This Shredded Beef Nachos recipe is the first of 4 recipes using shredded beef I will be sharing in the upcoming weeks.
Some people might consider Shredded Beef Nachos an appetizer. Shredded Beef Nachos is a perfect appetizer recipe. It is beefy, cheesy, crunchy and can be as spicy as you like. But, I love eating appetizers as a meal.

How to make a Shredded Beef Nachos Recipe
- 2 cups shredded Crock Pot Shredded Beef
- bag of flour tortilla chips
- 1 ½ cups shredded Mexican blend cheese, divided
- pickled jalapenos to taste
- ¼ cup salsa or Homemade Pico de Galo
- sour cream
- Tomatillo salsa (optional)
- In a nine inch, oven safe skillet or baking pan spread a layer of tortilla chips.
- Spread half the shredded beef, the desired amount of jalapenos, ⅛th cup of the salsa and ½ cup of cheese over the chips.
- Repeat the layer beginning with the chips again and ending with 1 cup of shredded cheese
- Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 10 minutes or until the cheese is melted.
- Top each serving with sour cream, your favorite salsa or homemade tomatillo salsa.

Ingredients
- 2 cups shredded Crock Pot Shredded Beef

- 2 tablespoons sour cream
