I love making an easy summer fruit salad during the hot summer months. Berries, melons and all sorts of sweet ripe fruit are available this time of the year.

A plate with a serving of summer fruit salad.

Fruit salad is a popular barbecue side dish during the hot summer.

This simple melon and berry fruit salad is a sweet treat with a ginger honey fruit dressing.

Fresh fruit is sweet enough on its own but this simple honey and ginger dressing adds a slightly sweet and spicy flavor the the fresh fruit.

The mellow mint and ginger honey flavors is the perfect dressing for this melon and berry fruit salad.

Directions

  • Recipe Prep: Make the ginger honey the day before serving.

  6. Chill for at least two hours before serving.
  7. Serve as a summer side dish.
