The more I use my 6 quart Instant Pot Electric Pressure Cooker the more I fall in love with it. T

This Instant Pot Green Beans recipe was so good I couldn't stop myself from sneaking a few green beans out of the bowl as I was setting up to take these photos.

The Instant Pot Green Beans turned out even better than my favorite crock pot green beans recipe I have been making for years during the holidays.

I also converted my very popular Crock Pot Candied Sweet Potatoes recipe into an Instant Pot Candied Sweet Potatoes recipe.

How Long Do You Pressure Cook Fresh Green Beans

How long do you pressure cook fresh green beans depends on the texture you like your cooked fresh green beans to have.

If you like your fresh green beans to have a crisp snap to them when you bite into a fork full then you should follow my Instant Pot Green Beans cooking time exactly.

My pressure cooking time will yield perfectly cooked fresh green beans that have just a slight crunch to them.

How To Pressure Cook Fresh Green Beans

If you like your fresh green beans to be cooked a tiny bit more that will yield a softer cooked green bean then add 2 more minutes on my Instant Pot Green Beans recipe pressure cooking time and follow the quick release directions the same as you would if you like a crisp snap to your fresh green beans.

Instant Pot Southern Style Green Beans

It is very easy to make your favorite southern style fresh greens beans in a pressure cooker and they will be cooked to perfection. Have you bought an Instant Pot Pressure Cooker yet?

I know I mentioned in my I Bought An Instant Pot Pressure Cooker post that it would never replace my favorite appliance the slow cooker.

But the more I use my 6 quart Instant Pot electric pressure cooker the more I fall in love with it.

I have only used the pressure cooker or steam cooking setting so far. I am seriously afraid to use the slow cooker setting at this point. What if I fall in love with it too?

In one sense I could get rid of all the crock pots I own. And I own a lot of crock pots. I think I have 10 crock pot slow cookers!

I don't know what I am going to do?

I love my crock pots and I know exactly which size crock pot to use depending on the slow cooker recipe I am making.

I don't have an instant pot so I make mine just on the stove top. But this looks so quick and easy. I love how simple this is.

These green beans can be made on the stove, in a rock pot or in an Instant Pot. They turn out delicious no matter how you cook them!

Love Instant Pot green beans. I am keeping all 5-6 of my Crock-Pots. I use each for different recipes!

I love my crock pots! And like you I have one for each type of recipe. Do you have the Crock Pot Casserole slow cooker? I love it not just for casseroles but crock pot cakes cook perfect in it.
