Easy Baked Spaghetti

For me, the best way to enjoy a good glass of red wine is with an Italian dish.

One of my favorite Italian recipes is Baked Spaghetti.

Baked Spaghetti is just as easy to make as a plate of spaghetti and tastes so much better as far as I am concerned.

Ever since I started making baked spaghetti we have never eaten spaghetti another way.

This recipe will feed a crowd or you can bake it in two smaller baking dishes and freeze one dish for another time.

How to make Easy Baked Spaghetti

This baked spaghetti recipe can be divided into two 8 x 8 baking dishes and made into a freezer meal. Bake one dish tonight for dinner and save the other as a freezer meal.
 
Ingredients
  • 1 lb angel hair pasta
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 1 large jar of spaghetti sauce
  • 1½-2 lbs Polly Whole Milk Mozzarella Cheese
Directions 
  1. Brown ground beef and drain.
  2. Cook pasta as directed on package and drain.
  3. Grate mozzarella cheese.
  4. Pour the jar of sauce into the pot you used to boil the pasta.
  5. Add pasta to pot and mix.
  6. Add ground beef to pot and mix.
  7. Add about a cup of shredded mozzarella cheese to the pot and stir.
  8. Pour the pot of spaghetti into one 9x13 or two 8x8 baking dishes.
  9. Evenly spread the remaining shredded mozzarella cheese over the top of the baking dish.
  10. Bake in a preheated 375-degree oven for 20-30 minutes until the cheese is melted.
 
NOTES
Serve with Italian bread, salad and a glass of Black Box Wine.

    I've seen those little tetra packs before and have thought they're just the cutest thing! I don't think the ones I saw were from BlackBox though because the packaging was green, but still -- so cute & stylish!
