Fiesta season is finally here. It seems to start around Cinco de Mayo but really! we can celebrate it any time we have a craving for a moist and delicious burger.

Chimichurri Turkey Burger
Ingredients
Creamy Chimichurri Sauce
- 2 tablespoons Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
- ½ cup parsley
- ¼ cup olive oil
- 2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
- ¼ cup fresh cilantro
- 1 clove garlic
- ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
- ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
- ¼ teaspoon salt
Burger Ingredients
- ½ cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
- ½ cup plain dry bread crumbs
- 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
- 2 lbs. ground turkey or ground beef
- 8 Slices Cheese
- 8 Medium hamburger buns
Instructions
Make Chimichurri Sauce
- Place the mayonnaise, parsley, olive oil, red wine vinegar, cilantro, garlic clove, red pepper flakes, cumin and salt in a blender. Puree until smooth and creamy.
- Refrigerate until needed.
Making the burgers
- In a medium size bowl mix the mayonnaise, bread crumbs, and soup mix until combined.
- Add the ground turkey or beef to the bowl and fold the mayonnaise mixture into ground meat. Shape into 8 patties.
- Grill, broil or cook the burgers in an air fryer until cooked through the center. Top with cheese if desired.
- Place a burger on a bun and add any of your favorite burger toppings. Drizzle with chimichurri sauce before serving.
