Chimichurri Turkey Burger

Ingredients  

Creamy Chimichurri Sauce

  • 2 tablespoons Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup parsley
  • ¼ cup olive oil
  • 2 tablespoon red wine vinegar
  • ¼ cup fresh cilantro
  • 1 clove garlic
  • ¼ teaspoon crushed red pepper flakes
  • ¼ teaspoon ground cumin
  • ¼ teaspoon salt

Burger Ingredients

  • ½ cup Hellmann’s Mayonnaise
  • ½ cup plain dry bread crumbs
  • 1 envelope Lipton Recipe Secrets Onion Soup Mix
  • 2 lbs. ground turkey or ground beef
  • 8 Slices Cheese
  • 8 Medium hamburger buns

Instructions 

Make Chimichurri Sauce

  • Place the mayonnaise, parsley, olive oil, red wine vinegar, cilantro, garlic clove, red pepper flakes, cumin and salt in a blender. Puree until smooth and creamy.
  • Refrigerate until needed.

Making the burgers

  • In a medium size bowl mix the mayonnaise, bread crumbs, and soup mix until combined.
  • Add the ground turkey or beef to the bowl and fold the mayonnaise mixture into ground meat. Shape into 8 patties.
  • Grill, broil or cook the burgers in an air fryer until cooked through the center. Top with cheese if desired.
  • Place a burger on a bun and add any of your favorite burger toppings. Drizzle with chimichurri sauce before serving.
