If you love Disney then I am sure you have shown your own #DisneySide at some time in the past. Maybe you posted pictures of your family on a trip to Disney World. Maybe when you celebrated a birthday and the party theme was Mickey, Minnie Mouse or a one of the Disney Princesses. Maybe one day just for the fun of it you served the kids a peanut butter and jelly sandwich cut out in the shape of Mickey Mouse or a princess crown. Well all of those thing are your #DisneySide @HomeCelebration.
We have shown our Disney Side many times. With three granddaughters who love the Princesses we have celebrated our #DisneySide @HomeCelebration many times. We've never made it to a Disney Park yet but one day we will. Until then we will celebrate at home. Just because we haven't made a trip to Disney World doesn't mean we can't celebrate our #DisneySide at home.
Disney supplied a huge party kit for our party. The kids had so much fun. I printed out the picture above on the HP Envy Printer with the free Disney Side Templates available at the Disney Side Celebration website where you can find all sorts of goodies to help you host your own #DisneySide Home Celebration. There are so many Disney themed recipes and activities that you can print and use for your own party.
I used the HP Photo Card Pack and printed out a picture for each of the guests and will mail them out this week so they can have a printed memento of our #DisneySide party.
I bought a few Disney coloring activities to keep them busy and had them decorate cute cupcakes decorated with mini Oreo cookies that look like Mickey's ears poking out of the frosting.
I gave the kids a couple of bowls filled with sprinkles and let them decorate the cupcakes.
I can't believe I forgot to take a picture of the party bags I made. I made some Mickey Mouse/Disney style decorated party favors to go in the bags along with all the other Disney toys and activities I put in the bags.
I customized bottles of bubbles that I bought at the Dollar Tree and made some Glitter Goo for the gift bags. The DIY Disney party favors I made turned out so cute. They were easy to make and really saved me a lot of money.
I've posted the instructions to make the DIY Disney Bubble Party Favors already and also posted the How to Make Glitter Goo and instruction for decorating the containers.
My mother in-law Bonnie looked so cute showing her #DisneySide in her homemade Mickey ears. She will probably hate that I shared her picture but she is such a sport when I host these parties. She always comes dressed matching the theme.
Thank you Disney Parks and MomSelect for the opportunity to host a wonderful #DisneySide Party for my granddaughters and their friends. The kids had fun and the adults had a blast playing to Disney Trivia game that was included. I was impressed by how many of the trivia questions the Moms answered correctly about Disney Parks.
