Blueberry Mojito
Today I am sharing a Blueberry Mojito recipe in celebration of National Mojito Day which falls on July 11th. I have been obsessed with Mojito recipes this year.
Florida blueberry season has come and gone but for the rest of the country blueberry season is in high gear. This Blueberry Mojito recipe is a perfect way to enjoy a summer cocktail using fresh blueberries. Since National Mojito Day falls on July 11th during the height of blueberry season it is a great way to celebrate Mojito Day and enjoy seasonal blueberries.
How to Make a Blueberry Mojito
A Blueberry Mojito starts out just like a traditional Mojito but with the addition of fresh blueberries.
- 8 large or 12 small mint leaves
- ¼ cup fresh blueberries
- ¼ of a lime
- 4 teaspoons superfine sugar
- 3 tablespoons light rum
- chilled club soda
- ice
- Using a muddler crush the first 4 ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
- Fill glass with ice.
- Add 1 ounce light rum, top off glass with about half a cup of chilled club soda.
- Stir to combine and garnish with a wedge if lime, mint leaves and blueberries.

Blueberry Mojito
Ingredients
- 8 large or 12 small mint leaves

- ¼ whole lime, cut into wedges
- 4 teaspoons superfine sugar ((see notes))
- 3 tablespoons light rum
- ¼ cup chilled club soda
- ice
Instructions
- Using a muddler crush the first 4 ingredients until the sugar has dissolved.
- Fill glass with ice.
- Add 1 ounce light rum, top off glass with about half a cup of chilled club soda.
- Stir to combine and garnish with a wedge of lime, mint leaves and blueberries.
- Makes one cocktail.
Recipe Expert Tips
- Make superfine sugar by pulsing granulated white sugar in a blender.
