Delectable Roasted Golden Beet Butter
Flavored butters like this Roasted Golden Beet Butter can be used in place of plain butter when you want to add more flavor to a recipe.
Everyone is probably familiar with garlic butter. We dip our shrimp in garlic butter or we use a spicy garlic butter dipping sauce for our boiled shrimp.
We dip our take out pizza bread sticks and pizza crust in it but did you know you can use other ingredients besides garlic and herbs to make flavored butters?
This type of flavored butter is refrigerated and used as a spread or topping instead of as a dipping sauce. One of my favorite flavored butters is a roasted red pepper butter that I like to serve when I am having the family over for lasagna or spaghetti for a Sunday dinner.
How To Use Flavored Butter
Flavored butters taste divine on a homemade piece of bread but they can be used for so many other things.
You can use this Golden Beat butter on meat, chicken, fish or your favorite side dish. Add a bit to your mashed potatoes or pasta.
Smear some on your corn on the cob. The way you use flavored butter is up to you. Where would you like to add flavor?
Do you like cauliflower rice? I love it. This Roasted Golden Beat Butter would be perfect melted over a mound of cauliflower rice or cauliflower mashed potatoes. Which I can't believe I haven't shared a recipe for yet since I eat it all the time.
