Torani Syrup: Ice Pop Recipe

 

 
I was so happy to take part in the Torani Authentic Coffeehouse Flavor program through SheSpeaks. I love coffee. I love flavored coffee. And my latest coffee obsession is cold brewed iced coffee. Enough said!

I received a bottle of Torani Pumpkin Spice and a bottle of Torani sugar free Vanilla Authentic Coffee House Flavor syrup to try out.

To be honest I was a little hesitant to try the sugar free Vanilla Torani syrup. Normally I would not use a sugar free product. I don’t care for the after taste that normally is present with a sugar free sweetener. I shouldn’t have hesitated a bit. I couldn’t even tell there was an artificial sweetener used in the vanilla syrup.

The first thing you notice when you open the bottle of Torani sugar free Vanilla syrup is the aroma of vanilla. The aroma of vanilla reminds me of when I am baking a vanilla flavored cake. All you can think is yummy!

I’ve used the vanilla syrup to flavor a hot cup of coffee, iced coffee and my pepsi. For the heck of it I poured a splash of vanilla syrup in a glass of pepsi I was drinking. Wow I loved it.
After looking through the recipe booklet I received with my box of Torani goodies I started to think. 


What else could I flavor with the vanilla syrup?

One thing came to mind immediately. Ice pops. Yes I know, it is cold out right now but the kids and grandkids eat ice pops all year round here in Florida where I live.

My grandkids love homemade frozen yogurt pops and the oldest granddaughter spied a new ice pop mold I bought last week and started asking when I would make her some ice pops.

I actually had to rescue said ice pops from her this morning when she spotted them in the freezer. It’s hard to explain to a five year old that grammy has to take some pictures before she can have the ice pops she asked me to make.

Torani Frozen Yogurt Ice Pop Recipe


Homemade frozen yogurt pops are so easy to make and the Torani vanilla syrup did a great job of adding flavor and sweetness without the extra calories.
Makes 4 large ice pops

Vanilla Mango Frozen Yogurt Ice Pops

1 cup of plain yogurt
2 + 3 tsps Torani Sugar Free Syrup
½ cup of mango slices or fruit of choice
Add all the ingredients to a blender. Pulse until the fruit is chopped up to your liking. The less you pulse the bigger pieces of fruit you will have in your frozen yogurt pops.

Pour into ice pop molds and freeze.

I can see a world of new ice pop flavors in the future using the Torani flavored syrups.
