I think these Corn Dog Bites are one of the cutest Instant Pot recipes I have made yet! The kids are going to love them.

Kid Friendly Instant Pot Recipes

Summer is almost here and the kids will be home all day. What are you going to feed the kids for lunch?

Instant Pot Corn Dog Bites are fun food for kids and are so easy to make that you can make them and serve them for lunch quickly.

Or you can premake a couple of batches of Instant Pot Corn Dog Bites and stick them in the freezer.

When you are short on time you can pop these mini corn dog bites into the microwave for a couple of seconds and lunch is done in the blink of an eye.

This kid-friendly Instant Pot recipe is perfect for lunch or dinner.

To make Instant Pot Corn Dog Bites you only need a couple of ingredients.

A box of Jiffy Corn Muffin Mix, an egg, some milk and a couple of hot dogs.

Instant Pot Accessories

To make the Instant Pot Corn Dog Bites all you do is mix the corn muffin mix following the directions on the box.

You will need an (affiliate link) Silicone Egg Bites Mold. I bought mine on Amazon.

I also bought the (affiliate link) Instant Pot Silicone Sling which makes loading and unloading the egg bites mold so much easier.

You've probably seen that you can make a sling with some aluminum foil and it does work.

I used a homemade aluminum sling when I made my Instant Pot Eggnog Cheesecake back during the holidays.

But now I have the silicone sling and it is so much easier to use to load and unload the egg bites mold.

It also makes making Instant Pot Hard Boiled Eggs so much easier.

Keep an eye out because I can't wait to share some of the other Instant Pot Bites recipes I have been making.

I love the egg bites silicone mold.

It is so fun to make these kid-friendly Instant Pot recipes!

How To Make Instant Pot Corn Dog Bites

Ingredients

  • 8.5 oz box Jiffy corn muffin mix (or homemade cornbread batter)
  • 1 large egg
  • ⅓ cup of milk
  • 4 hot dogs (I used Oscar Meyer Cheese Hot Dogs)

Directions

  1. Place one cup of water into the bottom of a 6 quart Instant Pot.
  2. In a small bowl mix the corn muffin mix, large egg and ⅓ cup of milk following the directions on the box.
  3. Next, cut each hot dog into 3 evenly sized pieces.
  4. Fill each well in a silicone bites mold about halfway full. Stick a piece of hot dog into the center of the corn muffin batter.
  5. Add just enough corn muffin batter to each well to cover the hot dog piece. Do not overfill. Each well should be about ¾ full. Place the silicone mold lid on top making sure it has "snapped" in place.
  6. Place the filled silicone bites mold on top of a silicone Instant Pot sling or make a sling out of aluminum foil (see my Instant Pot Cheesecake recipe for an example).
  7. If using two bites molds fill the second mold, attach the lid and place it on top of the first filled mold in the sling. Pick the sling up by the handles and lower the filled bites mold down into the Instant Pot.
  8. Secure the handles and twist the Instant Pot lid on. Push the valve to the sealing position.
  9. Push the manual button and set the time for 10 minutes. Once the Instant Pot has finished the pressure cooking allow the Instant Pot to naturally release the steam for 5 minutes. Carefully push the valve to the releasing position. Once all the steam has released twist the Instant Pot lid off away from your face.
  10. Open the handles of the sling and carefully lift the sling with the cooked Instant Pot corn dog bites from the Instant Pot.
  11. Remove the plastic lid from the silicone mold. Place a saucer on top of the silicone mold and flip over. Gently push each corn dog bite out of the mold.
Serve with ketchup or honey mustard.
  12. Makes 7 to 8 corn dog bites.
