Homemade Instant Hot Cocoa Mix
I have been making a larger version of this Homemade Instant Hot Cocoa Mix for years. This is my all time most requested homemade holidays recipe.
I love to make this Instant Hot Cocoa Mix recipe, package it in holiday cellophane bags and tuck the bag into a holiday mug.

This Homemade Instant Hot Cocoa Mix can be packaged in a mason jar for your holiday gift giving. Or you can package it individually in cellophane bags and tuck it into a pretty holiday mug.
How to make Homemade Instant Hot Cocoa Mix
- 9.3 oz container Nesquick
- 5 cups powdered milk or two 9.6 oz packages Carnation Instant Milk
- 1 ½ cups non-dairy powdered coffee creamer
- 1 ½ cups powdered sugar
- 2 jumbo candy canes
- mini marshmallows
- Sift all the dry ingredients one at a time into a very large bowl.
- Mix with a large spoon until ingredients are uniform in color. (No streaks of white visible.)
- Crush the jumbo candy canes and mix in with the cocoa mix.
- Layer cocoa mix in a mason jar with mini marshmallows.
To make one cup of cocoa
- Heat a mug of milk in the microwave.
- Mix 4 tablespoons of the instant cocoa mix in the mug of hot milk.
- Garnish with whipped cream and crushed candy cane.
