Mango Aqua Fresca
The summer might be coming to an end but that doesn't mean we can't enjoy an ice cold glass of Mango Aqua Fresca. It is still hot as all get out down here in Florida and mango season is still in high gear.
I don't need much of an excuse to mix up a pitcher of a refreshing fruit drink like fruit flavored aqua fresca.
Fresh mango makes a refreshing and cooling summer drink recipe. You can use fresh mango or you can use frozen mango if that is all you have available.
How to Make Mango Aqua Fresca
Ingredients
- 4 large Mangos
- juice of 2 limes
- 2 cans coconut water
- 1 quart spring water or use coconut water
- ¼ cup sugar
- ice
Directions
- Cut the flesh from the mango's and place in a blender with the lime juice.
- Blend until liquefied.
- Add the coconut water, spring water and sugar.
- Pulse for one minute.
- Taste and adjust sweetener if desired.
- Pour into a dispenser and serve over ice.
