DIY Watercolor Paints

Here is a fun summer activity for the kids. DIY Watercolor Paints are easy to make and safe enough and non-toxic for the younger kids to help with.

The homemade watercolor paints are bright and colorful. You can make as many different colors as you like using food coloring. These DIY Watercolor Paints are a perfect summer kids activity.

My granddaughters Hailey and Emma couldn't believe that we could make our own homemade watercolor paints. It was torture for them to wait for the homemade paint to dry so they could start painting.

The kids were so excited and couldn't wait to start painting with the homemade paints.

We made so many different colors using McCormick food coloring. The girls are very creative and as soon as they could they got to work creating some artwork.
