This Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dogs recipe is one of those recipes that are perfect when you are feeding the family or expecting a crowd. This is one of the easiest summer crock pot recipes you will ever make.
You know those nights when you are running the kids to a ball field or a dance class?
Fill the crock pot with hot dogs and chili set it on low and when you get home dinner will be ready to serve.

I made this Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dogs recipe with chili with beans but if your family prefers chili cheese dogs without beans feel free to use hot dog chili without beans instead.
When to serve Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dogs?
Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dogs aren't just an easy dinner. They're also perfect for a football party, race day, or any weekend get-together when you need an easy meal that can feed a hungry crowd.
Set the slow cooker out on the buffet table with buns, shredded cheese, onions, and your favorite toppings, and everyone can serve themselves while they watch the action.
They're also a fun choice for summer sleepovers and backyard campouts. When you have a bunch of kids camping out on the living room floor or pitching a tent in the backyard, just add the hot dogs and chili to the crock pot and let it do the work.
Older kids can serve themselves when they get hungry, which makes this an easy meal for a house full of kids.
Crock Pot Baked Potatoes are a great side to serve with Crock Pot Chili Cheese Dogs, especially for game day, football parties, or anytime you're feeding a crowd.
Set up a baked potato bar with shredded cheese, sour cream, green onions, bacon, chili, and other favorite toppings, and use those same toppings for the chili cheese dogs too.
These two crock pot recipes work so well together because everyone can mix and match what they like, making the whole spread easy to serve and simple to customize.
