Crock Pot Beef Stroganoff is a creamy comforting beef and noodle recipe.
There is something about a creamy beef recipe served over noodles that screams comfort food. Beef Stroganoff is a meal most of us probably grew up eating as a child.
There are a number of variation on the original beef stroganoff recipe out there. Some of them are cooked with white button mushrooms and for those who don't like mushrooms, there are beef stroganoff recipes made without mushrooms.
You can use steak to make Beef Stroganoff as I have or you could use beef stew meat and even ground beef to make Beef Stroganoff.
What doesn't change is that the beef is cooked in a thick white gravy and served over egg noodles. Not only does this recipes warm the soul but it sticks to the ribs and is filling.
