Summer is here and life should be easy. When you are looking to cool off what better way is there than an Easy Frozen Margarita recipe. I know when I am looking to relax on a hot summer day I want an easy to make cocktail recipe. One that I don't have to stock in a big list of ingredients to make.
Frozen fruit bars makes it so easy to make a Frozen Margarita with just 4 simple ingredients. All you need to make a delicious frozen margarita is one or two of your favorite real fruit ice pop flavors, tequila, triple sec and ice.
Summer Cocktails
Summer is the perfect time to enjoy frozen cocktails. You can blend them up and serve them in a glass. Or you can make boozy popsicles like Coconut Mojito Popsicles or turn a traditional mojito into a frozen Mojito Ice Pop. Either way you serve them they are a great adult beverage to cool off with.
I picked up a couple of boxes of frozen fruit bars at the grocery store.
I am going to have some fun this summer trying out all the flavors of fruit bars I can find and making them into Frozen Margaritas.
Frozen fruit bars are available in so many different flavors. Here are some of the flavors I have bought. Mango, Black Cherry, Lemon or Lime, Pineapple, Strawberry and Blueberry.
As long as you start out with 2 frozen lime fruit bars to make a frozen margarita you can change the flavor by using 2 bars of another flavor.
I fell in love with the Frozen Mango Margarita after my first sip. But here I am thinking about the other combinations of flavors I could come up with. How about an Island Tropical Frozen Margarita using 2 bars of Lime, 1 bar of Mango and 1 bar of Pineapple.
Looks like I may have to go clean out my freezer to make room for more flavors of frozen fruit bars so I can enjoy all the margarita flavors this summer!

Easy Frozen Margarita Recipe
Ingredients
- 4 bars Lime Frozen Fruit Bars (large ice pops)
- 1 ½ cups ice
- 1 shot Tequila
- 1 shot Triple Sec
- 1 small Lime wedge (optional)
- 1 teaspoon Sugar or salt for rim (optional)
Instructions
- Place the 4 frozen fruit bars (sticks discarded), ice cubes, Tequila, and Triple Sec into a blender and blend until combined.
- Dip the rim of a margarita glass into lime juice and dip into salt or sugar to rim glass. (optional)
- Pour the frozen margarita into 2 glasses.
- Garnish with lime wedge. (optional)
Recipe Expert Tips
- Try using two Mango and two Lime bars for a new flavor.
