Even if you're not a football fan I bet you love chicken wings!

Once August rolls around we know two things are going to happen. School is going to start and we start gearing up for football season.

Or maybe you are like me. I don't watch much football but I love eating sticky barbecue chicken wings.

Sweet & Sticky Honey BBQ Chicken Wings

I love chicken wings and don't need an excuse to eat them. When I get a craving I just head to the supermarket and pick up the ingredients to make this, my favorite chicken wing recipe.

Honey BBQ Chicken Wings are sweet and sticky. You will need some napkins nearby. The honey bbq sauce is so good you might forgo the napkins and just lick your fingers clean.

Wings are a favorite around my house and I like to serve them as appetizers, as a snack or for game day. The flavors are endless. You can make them sweet, spicy or smokey. Crock Pot Honey BBQ Buffalo Wings, and Smoked Old Bay Chicken Wings are great wing flavors.

Chicken Wing Secret Ingredient

I also have a secret ingredient that will make sure those sticky Honey BBQ Chicken Wings are moist and tender.

My secret ingredient is buttermilk! Don't tell anyone. It will be our secret.

Just make these Honey BBQ Chicken Wings and sit back and listen to all the compliments.

Buttermilk Chicken Marinade

Buttermilk is the best chicken marinade. Buttermilk makes the chicken meat tender.

The enzymes in buttermilk break down the protein in the chicken making the meat tender and adding flavor.

Best Ranch Dressing for Dipping Wings

I love dipping chicken wings in ranch dressing. My homemade Buttermilk Ranch Dressing is the best gourmet style ranch dressing for dipping chicken wings or anything else you might pour ranch dressing on.
