Lemon Verbena Sweet Tea recipe

Not sure what to do with all that Lemon Verbena you have growing in your herb garden? Make a glass of Lemon Verbena Sweet Iced Tea.

Pure Leaf Tea
Lemon Verbena Ice Tea

I love iced tea. I love it sweetened and with a slice of lemon or lime. I also love it flavored.

Summer time seems to be iced tea season but my family drinks it all year-long.

When we have a bbq or a family get together I serve iced tea.

One of my favorite things to do is to make my own flavored simple syrups to add to extra flavor to my glass of iced tea. I've made blackberry, cranberry, lemon basil, ginger and lemon verbena.

Today I flavored a glass of Sweet Iced Tea with some homemade lemon verbena simple syrup.

Here is a delish sounding recipe from Pure Leaf.

I may have to try this  Basil-Mo-Tea-To recipe  with lemon basil. Yummy

Pure Leaf has updated their packaging to a more sustainable packaging made of PET plastic. The new square bottles are made of PET plastic, are light weight and provide a high pallet efficiency, which equates to more bottles, lighter loads and less fuel used in transport. PET plastic is 100% recyclable. The innovative packaging is more consumer friendly for the on-the-go and ou of home occasions compared to the previous glass bottles.

I love a company that cares about the environment!
