I have loved the other flavors of Ling Ling Fried Rice and I wasn't disappointed with the Thai-Style Chicken Fried Rice. As soon as you open the bag the delicious aroma of of authentic Thai style food comes wafting out.
I could immediately smell the ginger and lemon grass infused rice along with all the other fresh Asian flavors. I was excited when I bit into a piece of grilled pineapple. And there are chunks of real grilled chicken and rice infused with the flavors of coconut curry sauce.
The real chicken is what I love about the Ling Ling frozen rice products. Each product has real meat whether it be chicken or beef.
Ling Ling Fried Rice product are perfect when you need a fast dinner. I can see keeping a few boxes in the freezer for when unexpected guest arrive and decide to hang out for awhile.
Ling Ling also has a few side dish products you can serve along side any of the Ling Ling frozen Fried Rice entrees. I've tried the pot stickers and the drunken noodles. They are just as good as the frozen Fried Rice dishes.
I had some fresh broccoli in the fridge I needed to use so I decide to make this Sesame Ginger Roasted Broccoli to serve along side my Ling Ling Asian Style-Chicken.
How to make Sesame Ginger Roasted Broccoli
Ingredients
- 3 cups fresh broccoli florets, rinse and trimmed of the thick stem
- 2 tablespoons Sesame Oil
- 2 tablespoon Soy Sauce
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh garlic
- 1 tablespoon minced fresh ginger
- ½ teaspoon ground black pepper
- ½ heaping teaspoon red pepper flakes
- 2 teaspoons sesame seeds
- Preheat oven to 425 degrees.
- Clean the broccoli and rinse well in a colder.
- In a medium sized bowl mix the remaining ingredients.
- Add the broccoli to the bowl and toss well.
- Spread the coated broccoli over a cookie sheet that has been lined with aluminum foil. If it looks a little dry drizzle with more sesame oil.
- Roast in the oven for 20 to 20 minutes tossing occasionally.
- Makes 2 to 4 servings.
