Holiday Tree Trimming Party with Tyson Any'Tizers
This year I decided to hold a little tree trimming party with my grand daughters. I thought it would be fun to get them all together to help decorate my Christmas tree.
All three of the girls are big enough to help Grammy decorate the Christmas tree.
When I was shopping at Walmart I came across the Tyson Any'Tizers in the freezer section.
Tyson has a large selection of appetizers. We eat them all the time. The Chicken Fries happen to be the kids favorite along with Tyson chicken nuggets of course.
I spotted the new Any'Tizers Chicken and Bacon Bruschetta in a freezer case at the end of an aisle and knew I had to try it.
It would be the perfect appetizer for my tree trimming party.
Easy to cook, easy to eat and easy to clean up.
That is my kind of party food!
My daughter Megan loves Bruschetta and since she would be coming over with two of my grand daughters I picked up a bag.
A few months ago I had a chance to try out the Tyson Chicken Broccoli and Cheese Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls.
I really liked them so I grabbed a box of the Chicken Bacon Club Stuffed Mini Bread Bowls to try out this time. Besides the great taste of the mini bread bowls one of the things I really love about them is that they go from freezer to microwave and are done in a flash. One individual mini bread bowl cooks in under a minute in the microwave.
Of course I also picked up a bag of Tyson Chicken Fries for the kids to snack on.
I wasn't sure how the tree trimming would with all three of the girls go so I picked up a craft project for the kids to do that was perfect for a Tree Trimming Party.
Have you seen the Christmas Paper Chain kits at Walmart? The strips of paper are pre-cut and pre-glued so all you have to do is dampen one end of a paper strip and stick it together.
The kids loved making the paper chains.
Even my youngest granddaughter had fun as she tried to make her own little paper chain to hang on the tree.
After the kids make their paper chains they hung them on the tree.
Here is Addison putting her paper chain on the tree with some help from her mom.
While the kids were working on their paper chain I was getting the appetizers ready.
While the Bruschetta was in the oven I popped the Mini Stuffed Bread Bowls in the microwave to cook.
The kids couldn't wait to eat so as soon as the appetizers were done we took a break from trimming the tree and ate.
After the kids stuffed themselves on the Tyson appetizers I decided to take advantage of the situation and get some Christmas pictures of my grand daughters.
It's my duty as a Grammy.........
to take advantage of all photo opportunities.
