Holiday Bark is one of those easy recipes that really isn't a recipe. Take this Easy Peppermint Bark recipe.
All there is to it is melted chocolate and the toppings.

There is nothing special about the chocolate. For the first time I bought one of those bricks of chocolate that are sold during the holiday baking season in most stores and called almond bark.

I love the holiday baking and candy making season.

I love all the scents and flavors we get to enjoy at this time of the year.

One of my favorite flavors is peppermint. Peppermint and chocolate go hand in hand this time of the year.

Homemade for the holidays Easy Peppermint Bark

Around Christmas time you can find so many recipes that include chocolate and peppermint.

Two of my favorite recipes that I have shared here on the blog are my Peppermint Mocha Frozen Hot Chocolate and my all time favorite Homemade Holidays recipe for Peppermint Hot Cocoa Mix for gifts in a jar or mug.

Fast & Easy Homemade Christmas Gifts

If you still need an easy homemade gift or need something sweet to put out for family or guest over the Christmas holiday homemade Bark is perfect.

It only takes about 10 minutes to make and you can personalize it using toppings that you love.

This Christmas Bark recipe gets its peppermint flavor from the toppings.

It has a subtle peppermint flavor.

Even though I love peppermint and chocolate I have had it in the past when peppermint extract was added to the chocolate.

I didn't really care for it because peppermint extract can be a bit overwhelming if you are not careful with how much you add.
