Pineapple Cottage Cheese Parfait

It is my pleasure to share this sponsored post for DOLE Jarred Fruit. I've been enjoying this Pineapple Cottage Cheese Parfait recipe for many years and thought you might also enjoy it.

I had no idea just how healthy a bowl of pineapple chunks and cottage cheese is for you. I've been enjoying this healthy snack most of my life. I believe I was about 18 the first time I enjoyed a bowl of cottage cheese with DOLE pineapple chunks on top.

I don't know why the tangy sweet flavor of pineapple mixes so well with cottage cheese, but it does. The cottage cheese seems to soak up the pineapple juice and every spoonful of cottage cheese is infused with the tropical flavor of pineapple.

Back then, when I opened a can of pineapple chunks I would always have some left over. Sometimes those left over pineapple chunks would get eaten. Many times the bowl of pineapple chunks would inevitably get shoved behind other things in the refrigerator and by the time I found them they would have to be thrown out.

Now I can pick up some DOLE Jarred Fruit Pineapple Chunks and not have to worry about wasting the leftover pineapple chunks. With DOLE Jarred Fruit I can easily store the leftovers in the refrigerator because the jar has a resealable lid.

The jars are tall so I can easily see it even behind a bunch of stuff in my fridge. Anytime I have a craving for a Pineapple Cottage Cheese Parfait I can just scoop out the amount of DOLE Jarred Fruit Pineapple Chunks I need and refrigerate the leftovers for next time.

I've never been a fan of fresh pineapple because it is such a hassle to peel and core one. With DOLE Jarred Fruit-Pineapple Chunks I don't have to worry about making a big mess while I am peeling and trying to pick all those eyes out of a fresh pineapple
