Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soups are currently available in these four delicious steakhouse soup flavors:

  • Creamy Potato
  • Loaded Potato
  • Cheddar Broccoli
  • Three Cheese Chipotle

Now you can serve one of the best tasting bowls of steakhouse soup without leaving your home. Each 6.6 - 7.1 ounce pouch retails for $2.79 and makes 4 one cup servings.

Each one cup serving only costs about .70 cents. That is a huge savings when compared to the cost of a bowl of steakhouse potato soup at my favorite steakhouse.

I decided to try out the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Creamy Potato Soup variety first. I love all the other flavor varieties available and can't wait to try them but I wanted to see if the straight up single flavor profile of the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Creamy Potato Soup could compare to the creamy potato soups I've eaten at a steakhouse.

January is National Soup Month and I love Soup!

I am a huge soup fan. I love soup. I eat it all year long here in Florida. Even during the hot scorching summer months you can find me eating soup for lunch or dinner. You might even go as far to say that I am a soup connoisseur. I love thick and creamy soups packed full of flavor.

The first thing I noticed when I opened up the package of Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Creamy Potato Soup was that there are real chunks of Idaho® red potatoes and red potato skins in there!

You know what they say about first impressions!

When I saw that I was really excited to try the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Potato Soup Creamy Potato Soup!

The instructions are so easy to follow. All you do is boil 4 cups of water, add the package of Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Creamy Potato Soup mix to the pot, whisk, reduce the heat and simmer for a few minutes. Then remove the pot from the heat and allow it to sit for a couple more minutes to thicken up.

I couldn't wait so I had a little taste as the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Creamy Potato Soup was still in the pot.

The Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse®  Creamy Potato Soup is packed full of steakhouse potato soup flavor. As you can see below it is thick and creamy just like you would expect from a steakhouse soup and it tastes just as good if not better than any bowl of steakhouse potato soup I have ever eaten at a steakhouse.

I can't wait to try all the other flavors. Especially the Idahoan® Premium Steakhouse® Cheddar Broccoli flavor.
