With warm weather comes the backyard bbq and my favorite way to celebrate summer with family and friends is to invite everyone over for grilled chicken.
Grilled chicken tastes so good when it is marinated in a citrus-based marinade like STUBB'S Citrus and Onion Chicken Marinade. It is the perfect combo of flavors for chicken.

Recipe Prep
- Trim the fat from each piece of chicken
- Prepare the chicken marinade following the directions if any on the package.
- marinade the chicken with the pineapple and cilantro and refrigerate until ready to cook. It can be marinaded overnight if needed.
Ingredients
- 4-6 boneless skinless chicken breast halves
- a Citrus Onion style chicken Marinade or favorite chicken marinade
- ½ drained pineapple bits
- 1 tablespoon minced cilantro
- favorite BBQ Sauce like Baby Ray, Stubbs or Sunny's Sweet BBQ Sauce
Directions
- Trim the fat from chicken breast halves
- Place in a bowl and pour ½-3/4 cups of the chicken marinade over the chicken and toss pieces to coat.
- Add the pineapple bits and minced cilantro to the bowl and toss to coat.
- Marinade the chicken for at least an hour.
- Cook over a medium-high hot grill until the chicken is cooked through to registers 165 F. on a meat thermometer.
- Serve with Mago Salsa.
