Whole Grains Freezer Labels
Uncooked or batch-cooked quinoa, brown rice, farro, barley — whole grains freeze wonderfully and make weeknight meals so much easier. But once they’re packed away, it’s hard to tell what’s what.
These easy-to-use freezer labels help you keep your grains organized, labeled, and ready to grab — so you can skip the guesswork and pull together a healthy, homemade meal in minutes.
🌾 Whole Grains Freezer Labels — Keep Cooked and Uncooked Grains Organized & Easy to Find
Whether you’re freezing big batches of cooked rice or tucking away uncooked grains from a bulk buy, these labels are just what you need to keep your freezer organized and your pantry stash protected.
Cooked grains like quinoa, barley, or brown rice are perfect for quick, healthy meals — and they freeze beautifully. Uncooked grains like oats, farro, or rice can be stored in the freezer to help keep them fresh longer and stop pantry pests before they start.
Either way, labeling those bags and containers clearly is a must — and that’s where my Whole Grains Freezer Labels come in!
These printable labels make it easy to track what’s in the freezer and when you stored it. Whether you're batch cooking or storing grains long-term, these labels save you time, money, and freezer space.
🥣 Perfect for Bulk Buyers, Meal Preppers & Busy Families
From prepping rice bowls for the week to storing uncooked lentils in airtight bags, these labels help you stay organized at a glance. There’s room to write the grain type, date frozen, best-by date, and even a note about whether it’s cooked or uncooked.

🧊 Organized home cooks who want to avoid mystery containers in the freezer
💡 Bonus Tip:
Labeling whether the grain is cooked or uncooked is super helpful — especially when they’re stored in the same size bags or containers. A quick note like “cooked brown rice” or “uncooked jasmine rice” can save a lot of second-guessing later. Store uncooked grains in airtight, moisture-proof containers before freezing to keep them fresh for months!
🗂️ Easy Storage Tip:
Each printable sheet includes 6 labels, but sometimes you only need one or two. To keep the extras safe and ready to use, I store my leftover labels in a three-ring binder with page protectors. It’s my go-to Freezer & Mylar Label Binder — no more digging through drawers or reprinting labels you already have!
🖨️ Recommended Printing:
These freezer labels are made and customized to fit Avery Printable Shipping Labels with Sure Feed, 3-⅓" x 4", White, 60 Labels (Avery 15264).
I've printed them with my own HP home printer and tested them in the freezer — no smudging, no peeling. Months later and the labels are still intact and the printing is as easy to read as the day they went into the freezer.
✅ These labels stay put on zip-top bags, vacuum seal bags, or containers — even through freezing and thawing.

💧 Are These Labels Waterproof?
Most home printer inks (especially inkjet) are water-based and not waterproof. If you print using a laser printer, your labels may hold up better to spills. That said, I’ve had great results with my inkjet printer and haven’t had any issues with smudging in the freezer. I've tested out the Avery #15264 for a year now.
