Recipe Prep Work Slice the sirloin beef thinly.
Cook the white rice following the directions on the package.
Cook or steam the fresh broccoli.
Beef & Broccoli Set your Instant Pot to sauté mode. Add a bit of oil, then the beef. Cook until browned. Turn the sauté setting off.
Add garlic, soy sauce, oyster sauce, honey, rice vinegar, red pepper flakes, and beef broth. Stir well to combine.
Secure the lid, set the valve to sealing, and cook on high pressure for 10 minutes.
Quick release the pressure. Remove the lid and switch back to sauté mode.
Stir in the cornstarch slurry and cook until the sauce has thickened.
Add the steamed broccoli and stir until well coated.
Serve over cooked white or jasmine rice, garnished with green onions.
Slice the beef thinly for quick and even cooking.
Don't overcook the broccoli - you want it to have a bit of crunch!
Make sure to quick release the pressure to prevent overcooking.
Adjust the amount of red pepper flakes to control the heat.
Use fresh garlic for the best flavor.
Thicken the sauce with the cornstarch slurry while on sauté mode.
