Instructions

Recipe Prep

  • If using a rotisserie chicken strip the meat from the chicken and roughly chop. If using leftover cooked chicken remove from the bone and chop.
  • If using canned chicken to make the dip open the cans and drain well.

Combine ingredients and slow cook

  • Place the cooked chicken into the bottom of the crock pot. Add half of the shredded sharp cheddar cheese, cream cheese, sour cream and buffalo wing sauce.
  • Stir the dip ingredients until the chicken is mixed in. Place the lid on the crock pot.
  • Slow cook on high for 1 to 1 ½ hours stirring every thirty minutes. Or on low for about 2 to 2 ½ hours. Check frequently to prevent scorching.
  • Once the cheeses have melted and the dip is hot sprinkle the remaining sharp cheddar cheese over the top of the dip. Replace the lid and continue cooking until the cheese on the top is melted.
  • Makes about 4 cups of dip.
  • Serve the hot chip dip from the crock pot set on the warm setting or a serving bowl with chips, crackers or vegetables.
