Cilantro Green Chile Lime Sauce is a perfect Mexican food topping. Use it to make green rice also.

  • 1 cup packed cup of fresh cilantro
  • ½ small small onion
  • 1 whole juice of one lime
  • 2 cloves of garlic
  • 4 oz. can can mild green chile's
  • ½ teaspoon salt
  • ½ teaspoon ground pepper
  • 2 tablespoons water

  • Place all the ingredients into a blender.
  • Pulse until the sauce is smooth.
  • Serve over white rice for easy cilantro lime rice or use as a sauce for your favorite Mexican dish like my recipe.
  • Refrigerate any left overs and use within a week.
  • Makes ½ pint.
