Pour the cake mix into a bowl. Add the apple sauce and stir to combine well. It looks a little thick but don't worry about it. It will bake up just finae.
I used cupcake papers but you can just use a cupcake pan if you prefer.
Use an ice cream scoop to fill the cupcake wells so all your cupcakes/muffins are the same size.
Bake in a 350 degree oven for 18 to 22 minutes.
Cool for 5 minutes and remove from pan to a cooling rack.
Frost with buttercream frosting and sprinkle tops with cinnamon.
