drain
Drain the crushed pineapple thoroughly in a fine mesh strainer, pressing out as much juice as possible with the back of a spoon. Set the drained pineapple aside while preparing the creamy pie filling.
In a large mixing bowl, beat the sweetened condensed milk with the lemon juice until the mixture thickens slightly. Gently fold in the thawed whipped topping until smooth, light, and fully combined.
Fold the drained pineapple, shredded coconut, and chopped pecans into the creamy mixture. Spoon the filling into the graham cracker crust, smooth the top evenly, cover, and freeze overnight until completely firm.
About an hour before serving, spread the remaining whipped topping over the frozen pie. Garnish with maraschino cherries and additional chopped pecans if desired, then slice and serve chilled.
