  • Prepare an 8 x 8 baking pan by lining it with parchment paper.
  • Put the semi sweet chocolate, Baker's German Sweet Chocolate, marshmallow cream and vanilla extract in a bowl and set aside.
  • In a sauce pan heat and gradually bring to a boil the sugar, butter, salt and evaporated milk.
  • Boil for 6 minutes and do not scrape the bottom of the pot as it boils.
  • Carefully pour the boiling sauce over the chocolate, marshmallow cream and vanilla extract in the bowl.
  • Beat with a mixer or a wooden spoon until the chocolate has melted and the fudge is creamy.
  • Pour the fudge into the prepared 8 x 8 inch baking pan and spread evenly in the baking pan. Allow the fudge to cool completely
  • Once cool lift the fudge up and out of the pan by the corners of the parchment paper.
  • Cut into 36 one inch squares.
  • Store in an air tight container.

Optional Decorating Idea

  • Decorate the top of each fudge piece with melted chocolate piped into a dollar sign and dust with edible gold glitter spray.
  • Serve in golden candy papers or gold candy boxes.

  • This is a rich and creamy fudge recipe made with evaporated milk not condensed.
  • Use edible gold candy spray to decorate.
  • Making Fudge: Do not scrape the bottom of the pot as the fudge ingredients are boiling. If you do your fudge will turn out gritty instead of smooth and creamy.
  • Cooking Fudge: You should cook the fudge ingredients to 237 to 239 °F degrees. If you don't the fudge will not harden.
