Ingredients  

  • 8 oz. softened cream cheese
  • 3 tablespoons softened butter
  • ¾ cup powdered sugar (sifted)
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions 

Cheesecake Dip

  • Place the softened cream cheese into a medium sized bowl. Using a handheld mixer beat the cream cheese until it is smooth and creamy.
  • Add the softened butter to the bowl with the cream cheese and beat until the cream cheese and butter are blended together.
  • Add the pure vanilla extract to the bowl and beat until combined.
  • Add half the powdered sugar to the bowl and beat until creamy.
  • Scrape down the sides of the bowl with a spatula and beat the remaining powdered sugar in until thick and creamy.
  • Cover the bowl and refrigerate for an hour before serving.
  • Makes about 1 ½ cups of dip.

  • cream cheese: make sure the cream cheese is softened and room temperature or the dip will be lumpy.
  • powdered sugar: sifting the powdered sugar is optional but it helps it blend into the softened cream cheese easier.
