You can make them yourself at home for pennies on the dollar.
Buy or harvest 2 to 3 pounds of fresh spinach leaves.
Place the leaves into a large bowl or plastic container. Fill the container with cold water and repeatedly rinse until the water runs clear. Drain and spin dry in a salad spinner.
Dehydrate the spinach leaves in a food dehydrator until they are crisp and dry. Allow to cool to room temperature before the next step.
Pinch off any thick stems from the spinach leaves and packing them into the bowl of a spice grinder.
Place the lid on the grinder and pulse until the spinach leaves have been ground into a fine powder.
Transfer the spinach powder to a container with a tight fitting lid.
Store the powder in a cool dark cabinet out of direct light.

Recipe Expert Tips
Make sure the spinach leaves are very dry before grinding them.
Use a good herb and spice grinder to turn the spinach leaves into a powder. A food processor will not work.
Tapping the spice grinder on a surface will prevent the fine powder from flying up into your face when you open the grinder. Store the powder in an air tight container to keep it fresh.
Add the smoothies, soups and other recipes you'd like to add more vegetables to.
