grape or cherry tomatoes

bacon

finely diced onion

minced garlic

Instructions
Dice the bacon and fry in a skillet until crispy.
Add the diced onion and tomatoes to the pan, Sauté until the onion is translucent.
Add the olive oil, the trimmed asparagus, minced garlic, salt and black pepper to the skillet and toss.
Cover the pan and sauté the asparagus until tender but still crisp, about 3-4 minutes. Thick asparagus stalks' will need to cook a few minutes longer.
Transfer the asparagus to a serving platter along with all the juices from the pan.
Grate fresh Parmesan cheese over the top and serve immediately.
